About Our Festival

The Buzzard Blast Festival was created in 2006 and the proceeds are used for the Louisville downtown façade program. The festival is a program of the Louisville Downtown Development Authority. The festival benefits many downtown projects and improvements including awnings, walkways, landscaping, etc. This is a community event and it is run by a very dedicated team of volunteers and supportive sponsors.

We would like to especially thank our sponsors for their generosity. Without their help, we could not build on the festival every year and showcase our town.
